Entry Requirements
What you have to be!

English

We offer English classes at all levels from Beginner to Advanced, so the only entry requirements are:

  • An interest in learning English.
  • An interest in learning about another culture.
  • The ability to attend all your classes and do a final exam.

Certificate Programmes (Business and Human Resources)

If you are interested in undertaking one of our ICM or ABE courses, there are some additional requirements:

  • You must have completed your secondary or high school education and undertaken final exams.  You may need to show the school these results.
  • A level of English which is B2 or higher.   This is equivalent to a pass in the Cambridge First Certificate or IELTS 5.0.
  • You must be able to study independently for your exams, as well as attending all your classes.

SEDA Academy is recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for English Language Teaching (ELT). We are accredited by ACELS, the Advisory Council for English Language Services and we are a recognised Cambridge Exam preparation Centre. We are also members of the following organisations: ICM, ABE, TIE, LCCI-EDI, City and Guilds, Trinity College and IAM.
